Baby Naming/Brit Milah
Baby Naming / Brit Milah
Mazel Tov on your new arrival!
At Temple Shir Shalom we recognize the importance Judaism plays in the process of welcoming a new family member and are here to offer guidance and to share in your joy!
Help with Naming & Planning
Prior to the arrival of your baby, our clergy is available to discuss Hebrew names and plan the ceremony — either the Brit Milah ceremony (covenant of circumcision) for boys, including our recommendations for a Mohel, or a baby naming ceremony.
Whether you would like to name your child during a Shabbat service or in a private service, our clergy are here to help and plan the celebration. To discuss the arrival of your new addition please call the Temple Office at (248) 737-8700.
Temple Shir Shalom offers a variety of spaces to fit your celebration needs. To discuss options, please contact the Temple Office at (248) 737-8700.
