In May we will read The Curse of Pietro Houdini by Derek B. Miller. The Curse of Pietro Houdini is not what you would guess. Imagine a wartime saga, a heist thriller with a bit of unexpected humor, a coming of age story and some art history lessons all mixed into the tale.

In June we will read Lady Tan’s Circle Of Women by Lisa See. This novel is also an unexpected story. This work of historical fiction takes us to 15th Century China and the story of Tan Yuxian, an actual female physician in China.
